TRANSPORTATION TICKET : BIT METREBUS, ITALY

Rome Metropolitana trains, buses, and trams use "Metrebus" tickets, which are valid on all three modes of transportation. The tickets can also be used for commuter-train rides within the Comune di Roma.

The tickets come in several basic versions:
BIT is the standard ticket for one Metro ride (with train changes, if necessary), one commuter-train ride, or 100 minutes on public buses. It costs €1,50.

The different types of ticket look identical on the front, but the data stored in the magnetic stripe and printed on the back side of the ticket is different.

ADMISSION TICKET : VATICAN MUSEUMS

Founded by Pope Julius II in the early 16th century and enlarged by successive pontiffs, the Vatican Museums (Italian: Musei Vaticani) boast one of the world's greatest art collections. Exhibits, which are displayed along about 7km of halls and corridors, range from Egyptian mummies and Etruscan bronzes to ancient busts, old masters and modern paintings. Highlights include the spectacular collection of classical statuary in the Museo Pio-Clementino, a suite of rooms frescoed by Raphael, and the Michelangelo-painted Sistine Chapel. (Lonely Planet)
